The liquid-cooled Power Module is especially suitable for applications where installation space is restricted and environmental conditions are harsh. Liquid cooling ensures efficient heat dissipation. The Power Module in chassis format is designed for connection to grounded TN/TT and non-grounded IT systems. The Power Module comprises a line rectifier, a DC link, and an inverter to supply the motor. The Power Module communicates with the higher-level control module via DRIVE-CLiQ. The control module in this case could be a CU310-2, CU320-2 or a SIMOTION D Control Unit. In addition, the Power Module has the Safety Integrated function. SINAMICS – the seamless drive family for every application area.
