The PM330 Power Modules, especially developed for simple applications, such as driving pumps, fans, and compressors with a load characteristic that increases depending on the speed. They will meet the stringent requirements for energy efficiency with optimum energy utilization. This is achieved by the very high efficiency, which is verifiable according to EN 50598, various energy-saving functions, and the automatic pulse frequency adaptation. The PM330 Power Modules are equipped with an RFI suppression filter in accordance with the limits defined in Category C3 as standard and meet the limits for use in the first environment (Cat. C2) according to EN 61800-3 with the use of an external line filter. If necessary, dv/dt filters for different powers or a Braking Module can be connected. A DC link connection is also available as standard. All available system components are precisely matched to the PM330. In this way, customized cabinet solutions can be implemented reliably and safely and space can be saved with compact cabinet building. The PM330 pays off with its ruggedness and is suitable for corrosive environments thanks to its noxious-gas-resistant components and coatings. All terminals and internal modules are easily accessible. Variable motor cable lengths are simple to implement via output reactors. In this case, too, series connection is permissible. The PM330 Power Modules are suitable for connection to grounded TN/TT and ungrounded IT systems, but not for 690-V power systems with grounded phases. The CU230P-2 Control Unit intended for the PM330 does not have special Safety Integrated functions, but safety functions can be implemented with external cabinets. The Power Module PM330 (degree of protection IP20) powers motors in a power range of 160 kW to 630 kW. They are available for frame sizes GX to JX in a three-phase voltage range of 380 V to 690 V. To select a suitable Power Module, the following currents should be used for applications. With low overload (LO), the base-load current IL and, with high overload (HO), the base-load current IH.
