It provides buffering for extended power failures over hours and ensures interruption-free plant operation The intelligent battery management automatically detects the UPS1100 energy storage device and ensures optimum temperature-controlled charging and continuous monitoring. The compact UPS1600 modules offer new possibilities for diagnostics and system integration. The modules can be easily integrated into the PC or PLC world using two Ethernet/PROFINET ports Complete integration in TIA offers user-friendly engineering in the TIA Portal and is supported by ready-to-use function blocks for S7 and WinCC faceplates for fast visualization. The integrated Web server and the SITOP UPS Manager also enables easy monitoring and configuration in PC systems, e.g. the shutting down multiple PCs in accordance with the master-slave principle.
